working on badges, community service, and leadership.
The Boy Scout Troop 19 and Cub Scout
Pack 19 seek to support the growth
of each young boy into a responsible and reliable young man. By gradually
giving each boy more responsibility and the opportunity to take part in
more adventurous activities each year the boy grows more independent.
Boys can start as early as first grade as a Tiger Cub in the Cub Scouts
then move into Cub Scouts during second grade. When they reach sixth grade
they can join the Boy Scouts and take part in weekend camping activities
and a week long summer camp. Older Boy Scouts have opportunities with
high adventure trips during the summer, such as canoeing in the Boundary
Waters, white water rafting, and hiking in the mountains of Colorado.
