Confirmation Schedule 2007-2008
Mandatory Parent/Candidate Meeting:
September 2007
Interviews:
Each candidate will be scheduled for an interview between October 9 and 27. Closing interviews will be done by the team following the retreat and before the celebration of Confirmation. Letters to Father due at interviews.
Study Sessions (7):
- October 28, 2007 Large Group/with parent l - 2:00 to 5:00 pm (Groups will go out in the community and do service/dinner will be provided. Parents are asked to be present and participate in the evening of service to the community.)
- November Small Faith-sharing - in
homes following Liturgy
- December Small Faith-sharing - in
homes following Liturgy
- January 6, 2008 Large Group/sponsor
and parent in Martin Hall - 4:00 to 6:30 pm
- February Small Faith-sharing - in
homes following Liturgy
- March Small Faith-sharing - in homes
following Liturgy
- April 13, 2008 Large Group/with parent in Martin Hall -4:00 to 6:30 p.m. This meeting will include practice for the Rite of Confirmation.
Rite of Commitment:
Weekend of
December 15 - 16, 2007 at all Masses
Overnight Retreat:
March 29 - 30, 2008
Interviews - April
Rite of Confirmation:
April 25, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
