Holy Eucharist

This sacrament is celebrated daily and several times each weekend. Please check our Parish Bulletin for the current times. First Eucharist is ordinarily celebrated when a child is age 7 or 8. First Eucharist celebrations are held in the Easter Season.

Meetings and Special Activities

Parent Meeting - February 18 and 28, 2008 at 6:30 pm in the school meeting room.

Blessing Cups - Children will prepare a blessing cup to be used for home ritual and prayer. If you were unable to be here on February 17, please stop by the office and get your cup so that it will be completed prior to the retreat.

Retreat Morning - March 29, 2008

April 26 & 27, 2008
and
May 3 & 4. 2008

Families may choose to celebrate First Communion at any of the weekend Masses.
Preparation: This is a special time for families as parents and children are involved together in this preparation program which includes prayer, study, service and other activities. This is a policy of St. Joseph the Worker Education and Faith Formation Committee that a student has completed one year of religious education or Catholic school immediately prior to beginning this sacramental program.


Confirmation for Adults:
A process for persons beyond high school age who want to be confirmed in the Catholic Church has been developed on a citywide basis. The process extends through the Lenten season. Contact Us
