Sacraments of Vocation

Matrimony is the Sacrament of married life and love. This Sacrament is scheduled upon individual request, except during the Advent and Lenten seasons. It is proper to celebrate the Sacrament even within the context of Sunday Eucharist.
Preparation: Preparation for this Sacrament is long and involved. A packet explaining parish programs and procedures will be given to the engaged couple at their first meeting with the pastor. Engaged couples should contact our parish at least six months prior to desired date of marriage. If the annulment of a previous marriage is necessary, at least a year and possibly longer is needed.
